This vacancy is available within the team of medical writers who focus on the therapy areas of Respiratory and Endocrinology diseases.

As Senior Medical Writer you’ll create materials which disseminate pre-clinical and Phase I-III data to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) via peer-reviewed journals.

Examples of materials which you’ll create, in conjunction with authors and medical affairs teams, include Primary Manuscripts, Abstracts, Posters, and Book Chapters. 

Furthermore you’ll contribute to Publications planning activities which includes gap analyses and needs assessments, and development of the scientific communication platform.

Salary, Benefits, and Working Pattern

  • Salary range is £52,00 to £60,000 per annum.
  • As a Senior Medical Writer you have the option of 100% remote working from any UK location. However if you prefer some time in Central London you can opt for a hybrid working arrangement. The choice is yours.

Senior Medical Writer – Publications – Candidate Criteria

  • Experience of working as a Medical Writer within a medical communications agency.
  • Experience of creating documents for medical publication plans in liaison with authors and medical affairs teams, for example Manuscripts, Abstracts, Posters, and Book Chapters.
  • Some experience of contributing to strategic and tactical Medical Publication Planning activities such as carrying out gap analyses and identifying target peer-review journals.
  • An awareness of industry standards applicable to sponsored medical publications such as Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines is necessary.
