Medical Publications Writer
An opportunity to join the medical writing team at a large London based communications agency which has won several awards for its excellent employee benefits and overall working culture.
This is a full-time position (5 days a week) working a hybrid pattern of 3 days a week in the agency’s Central London office.
This vacancy of Medical Publications Writer is with a team of writers working across two major therapy areas – Respiratory and Endocrinology.
The primary purpose of the medical writing projects,that you will work on, is to to engage Healthcare Professionals with pre-clinical and Phase I-III data via peer-reviewed journals.
Your responsibilities as Medical Publications Writer
As Medical Publications Writer your primary role involves drafting materials such as manuscripts, abstracts, and review articles for submission to peer-reviewed medical journals.
In addition to peer-reviewed materials you will also write materials for use at medical meetings such as speaker briefs, presentation slides, and conference posters. Other writing tasks include drafting book chapters, and creating educational materials for pharmaceutical company employees.
Salary, Benefits, and Working Pattern
- Salary range is £37,00 to £45,000 per annum.

Medical Publications Writer – Candidate Criteria
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate experience of working as an Associate Medical Writer or Medical Writer within a healthcare communications agency to include experience of drafting manuscripts and/or review articles.
