By joining this leading health data organisation, as Data Engineer, you lead on creating interfaces and mechanisms which enable the flow and access of the organisation’s health data. Therefore you’ll have responsibility for setting up and operating the organisation’s health data infrastructure. As Data Engineer you’ll work across all parts of the health data solution. It’s a cloud-first environment, therefore you’ll design, build, and maintain ETL processes within Azure Data Factory.
Working alongside a Data Architect as a member of the technical services team you’ll collaborate with other technical staff such as Software Engineer, Software Architect, and Business Intelligence Analysts. The team embraces new technologies, and moreover you have the autonomy and resources to experiment with solutions.

Application Criteria, Data Engineer:
- Experience of working in data engineering with experience of working within a health data environment
- Skilled in building and maintaining all parts of the data solution, including databases, ETL, ELT, and reporting solutions.
- Experiences of working within a SQL Server environment
- Skilled in writing SQL queries, Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, and SQL Packages
- Cloud-Based ETL experience, such as Azure Data Factory
